Stevenage 17 - Fins 27

Good : 
- Strong debuts from Finn & Matt, staking real claims for their shirts
- Line-out maul allowing Fred to facepalm and score try 1
- Powerful line splitting run from Finn for a 2nd try
- Another gorgeous maul, Fred being impeded and winning the penalty try
- A 40 yard cross field horizontal run from Josh, to pop to Victor for try number 4
- Jude absolutely nailing a Stevenage forward in a hit which should have warranted a Man of the Match
- Big Billy stealing an opposition line-out with a one handed catch
- Gary & Finn giving some absolute monster shots and staking a real claim as the seasons centre partnership
- A return to action for the versatile Aslan Kaplan - who finished the game having not had a fight with his own team... can't be said for everyone on the pitch though...
- Lil' Will Gill converting 50% of his kicks
- Josh Captaining his first league game
- Max making his 50th Cap

Bad : 
- Gary line breaking after a delightful slice in there 12-13; gaining 30yard, then shifting the ball in to touch rather than easing Victor for a simple score
- Being so short of natural backs, relying on Mitch on the wing (where - to be fair - he wasn't half bad)
- Josh's lack of trust in the line-outs which had secured 2 tries, and opting twice to take carries than trust the set-play system
- Josh's lack of trust in his 9s boots, even though he'd scored 99 points last season... and opting for any decision but go for goal
- Lil' Will Gill opting to run into traffic rather than take the 3 man overlap
- Lil' Will Gill not converting 50% of his kicks

Ugly : 
- Ed making up for his uninjured appearance last week by being taken off injured twice - in an attempt to balance the books; the latter a concussion induced by a head on head which another ref may have seen as a red for Allington.
- Charlie stropping at the referee because his opposite number was boring in a little
- Fred stropping at Josh because he did not back the decision to kick for goal
- Fred throwing a tee that hit Danny on it's way off the pitch to try and stop Will taking a kick
- Fred continuing his strop and delaying the kick whilst his team was in-fighting
- Fred's attempt at letting it back out on the opposition after the restart and needing a little hand from Liam to clear them out
- Jude's shameless text to AT post game "did you see my vital turnover 10 minutes in" - hoping it would make it would make it into the match report
- Morgan still moaning about appearances whilst another win was notched up by the 17 in green and gold
